Zach Blount is Co-founder and President of Blount Builds, a building contractor rooted in craftsmanship, character, and timeless design. With a background in fine arts and a deep appreciation for historic architecture, Zach brings a rare blend of creative vision and technical expertise to every project. His journey into construction began after realizing that building homes offered the collaborative, purpose-driven work that art alone could not. Since then, he has cultivated a career grounded in intentionality, combining his artistic sensibilities with a passion for detail, heritage, and the enduring value of beauty.
Before founding Blount Builds, Zach spent his career building homes for respected firms including Lennar, Front Door Communities, Pulte Homes, and Riverside Homes Custom. These experiences refined his understanding of quality building practices and reinforced his belief that homes should be crafted, not just constructed. In addition, Zach and Christine spent their free time investing in real estate projects of their own over the last decade, where they grew a passion for renovating and improving historic homes. Zach is a certified building contractor in the state of Florida, with a focus on historic neighborhoods such as San Marco, Ortega, Riverside, and Avondale.
At the heart of Zach’s work is a deep respect for the homes he touches. He believes that every structure tells a story and that his role is to preserve, enhance, and build upon that legacy with integrity and care. With a leadership style rooted in humility and a process grounded in communication, Zach continues to build homes and relationships that will stand the test of time.
